happy monday… or should I say end of monday? It's a tough call. Either way it is still monday, so thats that.

Today I am blogging from my old bedroom, it's kind of a novel post so bare with me. I am literally under a bazillion blankets, I get very very cold at night and then I get super super hot and sweaty and gross… I just can't win its a very difficult fight.

I spent the ENTIRE weekend at my house. I mean all of Friday night, all of Saturday and all of Sunday stuck inside my cute and cozy home. I am probably brain dead from watching so much TV.  This morning I woke up nice and early to get ready for work but as I was reading all of my twitter updates, everything just kept talking about how the highways were crap, schools were closed so there was no way I was going to drive to work (the perks of working with my mom) I called momma bear told her the deal, got back into bed and slept until 10:30. It really wasn't that terrible of a monday morning but let me tell ya, I had to get the hell out of that house. I was going crazy. Brent being the amazing boyfriend that he is was kind enough to drive me back to Cambridge so that I could meet up with my accountant and figure things out for the company… Taxes are a pain in the butt.

Before we headed to my parents house, I decided that I wanted to sleepover. Even though I don't live with my parents anymore, I still and always will consider their house my home. I am so so family oriented, its a little gross but I love it.

So here I am, back in the comfort of my old room getting ready to read a little bit of this new book. It's called "he's Gone" by: Deb Caletti. I'm only a couple of chapters in and its getting good. It feels so good to be here in my old space. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my new house, but when you're confined to that one home for over 48 hours you get a little crazy. So I'm enjoying this little break!

I hope you all have a fabulous week! Stay positive, we're half way through winter… so it's almost over!

ps. I went to lunch with my mom, sister and Brent today at Mandarin and look at this awesome fortune. I'm telling you guys, Happiness is my goal this year and I wake up every morning reminding myself. It really is a journey, not a destination. You make your happiness, remember that :)
